The movie "The Ferry of Soul" is a continuation of the theatrical version of "Ferry of Soul", directed by Ju Xingmao, starring Yu Yi, Yue Lina, He Hua, Yang Kun, Ni Hongjie, Liu Zhiyang and others. Released on November 4, 2016, the film tells the story of the mysterious events that took place in the White House.

At the beginning of the story, only Miss Hua and her servant Liu Ma are left in the White House. On the first anniversary of Bai Mudan's death, Bai Mudan's daughter Jiang Lili, her apprentice Axiu and Dr. Hong came to pay her respects. On the way to the ancestral hall, the voice of singing suddenly came. It turned out to be Huang Shuixian, the reporter interviewing Bai Mudan. The outside world believed that Bai Mudan committed suicide by drinking poisoned wine, but the people who came to pay homage were not convinced.

After the memorial ceremony, in order to find out the cause of Mudan's death, Zhao Li, who came to the White Mansion to repair the harp, took action. He played the harp and created an illusion that everyone couldn't leave in order to reveal the truth. When Jiang Lili threatened Zhao Li, Huang Shuixian attacked and killed Jiang Lili. Later, Miss Hua wounded Axiu with a gun, which also revealed the truth.

It turned out that the death of Bai Mudan was a conspiracy. There was an adulterous affair between Miss Hua and Axiu. In order to cover up the secret, she killed Bai Mudan with poisoned wine. With Axiu's death, Miss Hua chose to commit suicide, ending this fateful puzzle.
